An initial session begins with getting to know you and the reason(s) for your visit. This is followed by a non-invasive Chinese medicine assessment, which can include pulse, tongue, meridian, and/or abdominal diagnosis. By tuning into the messages of your body, I will then provide a gentle acupuncture treatment with the focus of guiding you into a greater sense of connection with yourself and your body. This is how we invite deep healing to happen! After your first session, I will create a tailored treatment plan and collaborate with you about any lifestyle shifts, herbs, or supplements that I may recommend.

Note: If this is your first acupuncture experience (or if you identify as needle-sensitive), we may use very few needles to start with or choose to use non-needle techniques only.

A return visit begins with checking in on how you are doing and any changes you’ve noticed following treatment. I will then provide a gentle acupuncture treatment, and if desired we can explore incorporating other modalities such as tuning forks, moxibustion, aromatherapy, and stone medicine.

A shorter session for those seeking healing and balancing without the use of inserted needles. Modalities and techniques may include acupressure, Teishin non-insertive/contact needling, Qigong Tuina, Sotai neuromuscular re-education, tuning forks, aromatherapy, and stone medicine. Depending on health history and treatment goals, this session could also include fire cupping, moxibustion, and/or gua sha treatments.
